- Structure the asset register based on a location hierarchy such as building, floor, room/area. Everyone must know the asset location This also helps with reporting.
- Physically tag assets with QR codes and a unique asset code, to easily identify each asset
- Catalog every asset in every location, this process may include asset condition, expected life, purchase and warranty, supplier documentation and other classifications
- Perform an asset audit to verify and cross-check collected data for accuracy and completeness
- Setup a maintenance program tailored to your hotel including contractors, and spare part requirements. Sidekick has pre-programmed maintenance schedules in a library to speed up this work, and manage it ongoing.
- Update your operating policies; new assets will be added to the register after purchase, and assets disposed of need to be updated.
